Over the past 31 years, Carrie has dedicated her career to leadership roles in the multi-family industry. She has performed, supervised, or managed all aspects of daily operations, including collections, budgets, financial reporting, vendor negotiations, customer service, new acquisitions, insurance claims and maintenance for communities within Texas and Louisiana. She has worked with companies such as Cortland Partners, Peak Living, AIMCO and Mid-America.
During her years in property management, Carrie has gained vast knowledge in start-up companies, management, new construction lease-up, renovation leasing, senior living, and affordable housing (including bond and HOME). Carrie has an extensive background in value-add communities, including supervising construction renovations for a portfolio of 1,916 units. As a result of the completed renovation projects, her assets reflected a return of 17%-24% in revenue and outperformed the area sub-markets with higher rental rates and occupancy. Carrie believes her success is a direct reflection of her work ethic, positive attitude, and talented team members with whom she has had the pleasure of working with over the years. Additionally, Carrie has led several acquisition teams and taught courses for the Houston Apartment Association, including Leasing 101 and Fair Housing. She currently holds a CAPS certification and has successfully completed all CAM courses. Carrie is also studying courses through IREM to complete her Certification.

Our Chief People Officer joined our group to support our teams, Shana Brumley. Shana has 10 years of experience in property management as an owner/operator. She has multiple portfolios in the South Texasarea. Shana has a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas Tech University. At TXU Energy and General Electric, Shana managed multidisciplined collaborations for projects and created successful team environments for efficient operations. She has experience with coordinating sales, procurement, developing processes, procedure management, document control, and overseeing implementation of finished products in multiple industries. Shana also has years of experience sitting in multiple positions on nonprofit organization boards and has volunteered as a mentor for CyFair ISD for 3 years. She loves accommodating people coming to visit and knows all the hot spots around town! Her top priority is making sure our teams are in a positive culture in which they can thieve.
